Chef-Driver-Houseman/Gentleman's Gentleman: (Personal Attendant to Principal)
The Principal is dedicated

Compensation:
Competitive salary. Salary: (depends upon experience).

Some of the duties and requirements:

Preparing and
cooking of daily "simple and basic" meals and refreshments.

Chauffeur
duties.

Maintaining
household and taking care of various errands.

Travel may be
required to assist the principal during travel.

oriented with great follow-through is an absolute must.

Polished individual who is honest,
gracious, professional, detail and service oriented, exercises discretion, and
maintains confidentiality at all times.

of good food and basic cooking skills.

Must have a

Duties/Activities
Overview:
Manage the day to day operations of the household in a professional, mature,
efficient and sophisticated manner--having the highest of regard at all times
to the preferences of Principal and his guests. Be creative and organized with
good attention to details and cleanliness. Drive. Prepare meals. Take care of
errands.
Details:
Food:
-
Buy, prepare,
and serve mainly organic, healthy, nutritious meals/refreshments for Principal
(breakfast, lunch, dinner).

Cocktails and
appetizers for guests.
For larger functions, outside caterers will be retained.
Cars and
Driving:
-
Drive
Principal as needed.
-
Maintain auto
maintenance records.
-
Take the cars
for gas, service, and car washes.
-
Drive for
errands and shop for necessary items.
Living Space:
-
Housekeeping/cleaning of apartment with daily attention to supplement the
bi-weekly housekeeping.
-
Supervise
Housekeeper.
-
Some laundry
and ironing.
-
Keep supplies
well stocked and organized.
-
Meet and greet
guests.
-
Make
arrangements with repairmen or other service providers in order to maintain the
household at a high standard.
Accounting
Matters:
-
Daily check-in
meetings with Principal to assure the smooth day-to-day operations.

Keep
up-to-date logs (likes, dislikes, vendors, contacts, the keeping of the
kitchen, household inventory, etc.).

Manage an
expense account; and maintain expense reports.
Travel:

Pack and
unpack clothing.
-
Possible
occasional travel with Principal.

Assist
Principal as needed.
Other:

Make various
calls.
-
Oversee
/manage /supervise occasional events.

Take
occasional dictation.

Prepare
written correspondences.

Light market
research as directed (internet and store visits).

Requirements
Overview:
We are looking for an honest, positive, responsible, polite, intelligent,

This is a
uniformed position. A working uniform will be provided; you are to provide your
own shoes and shirts.

Mobile phone
and PDA provided and required to be carried.

driver’s license with clean driving record (this will be verified).

Must have a
legal right to work in the USA and valid travel papers, if not a US citizen,
and must be authorized to work in the United States.

A non-smoker.

The use of
alcohol is unacceptable during working hours.

Any illegal
drug use is cause for immediate termination.

Compensation
Overview:
Because of the Principal's varied activities and projects, each day will carry
with it new and different experiences. And, there is schedule stability within
this variety. Examples of a possible day for the Principal:

While Principal is at his office, the person hired for this role will do
various errands, grocery shop, plan for a weekend event, rest, meal plan,
update lists, etc.
When appointments of the Principal require the
person hired for this role to wait, then those hours may be used for personal
self-care activities, i.e., read, work on writing a book, relax, etc.
Details:
-
Vacation: 7 Paid Vacation Days, plus 7 paid federal holidays
are included each year; depending on the situation--days may be compensated
on a different date. Total of 14 paid, non-work days.
-
Days off are Sundays and every other Saturday, except for
events and when traveling is required--in which case, days off may accumulate
for use at another time or shift to other days.
-
A
performance bonus may be earned upon a minimum of one year of continual
employment.
-
Automobile
supplied or mileage paid if using personal vehicle.
